Overview: 

The NZEB standard applies to all new buildings and aims to drastically decrease the energy consumption of new builds. The Intelli-Hood system was implemented to control the kitchen ventilation fans and optimise their energy consumption. In the first year of operation the Intelli-hood:

• Saved €7,929
• Reduced CO₂ output by an estimated 12858 kg
• Reduced the operating expenses of the kitchen by 60%
• Achieved full installation payback
